PTSL Tech is a UK tech recycling company (PTSL Ltd). We buy used and redundant IT equipment — any quantity, working or not — for secure reuse and recycling. We take data protection seriously and comply with UK GDPR.

1. What we collect

Enquiry data: name, email, phone (optional), intent (sell/bulk/quote/other) and message/details you submit via the contact form at /#contact or by email/WhatsApp to hello@ptsltech.co.uk.
Asset lists: models, quantities, condition and location you send for valuation.
Technical: IP, user-agent and timestamp for spam prevention and to fulfil your request (see Worker logs).

We do not use cookies for tracking, advertising or analytics. The site uses only essential static assets.

2. How we use it

To reply to your enquiry, provide a valuation/quote and arrange collection or sale.
To perform secure data wiping where you sell us devices (see below).
To keep a record of enquiries for business administration (legitimate interest).

We never sell your details. We share only where necessary: Cloudflare (email delivery to our business inbox and website hosting) to process your enquiry, and collection couriers where you arrange a pickup.

3. Data wiping (when you sell to us)

Data-bearing devices are securely sanitised where technically possible. Storage that cannot be securely sanitised is handled through an appropriate destruction or recycling process. A certificate of data destruction is supplied on request, listing the devices processed.

4. How long we keep it

Enquiry emails and asset lists: up to 24 months for warranty/support and to evidence reuse, unless you ask us to delete sooner. Worker logs (IP/UA): up to 30 days.

5. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can request access, correction, erasure or restriction of your personal data. Contact hello@ptsltech.co.uk — we reply within 30 days. You can also complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).
